Podcast: Talking point guards, Mahmoud and Broncos

Ross Martin

Adam Kinney from Mile High Sports 93.7 and 1510 AM to talk about a whole bunch of subjects. We also made our second consecutive remote appearance at Jakes Food and Spirits on 3800 Walnut. Thanks to Andrew Feinstein for allowing us to record there for another week.

We start off the show talking about Adam and what he does in the sports media. Then we drift into headlines where we talk about many subjects, including the CU/CSU "rivalry" game last Sunday. We also talk about Rajon Rondo and Nates dislike and Adams like of him. Some interesting thoughts about where Ty Lawson places in that list.

Then we drift to my section about Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf and the controversy that surrounded him in the 90's. I ask if the same thing happened to him today (refusing to stand for the National Anthem) would the reaction by the NBA be the same. Also I ask if he was blackballed from the league.

Then we drift into Broncos talk for the last part of the show and get some inside pool from Adam about covering the Broncos at Dove Valley. We wind up the show by giving our "predicitons" for Thursday's tilt against the Baltimore Ravens.
