Nuggets of wisdom

The Nuggets and Timberwolves played a spirited game a couple weeks ago. The Nuggets controlled most of the game, and Kenneth Faried annoyed Kevin Love, per usual, and came up with some big stops down the stretch. The Nuggets have developed into a much more confident offensive team since they have significantly picked up the pace. And in their last 10 games the Nuggets (to the surprise of many who predicted doom and gloom) and they are now ahead of the Timberwolves in the Northwest Division standings.

Tonight, the Nuggets just need to keep their own good vibrations going. Their ability to control the Dallas Mavericks through two games was a big eye opener. The Wolves are now a good and dangerous team, and should be considered as such. This will be a big test on the road for this new team and like the last game, it should be a good one.

The key tonight? Timofey Mozgov. He has played rather timidly the last couple games, displaying the stone hands that we all remember so well. He plays well against Pekovic and the Nuggets will need Moz to neutralize his heavy presence in the lane.

Should be a good one. And to the Beach Boys….sorry.
