Podcast: Dempsey talks Nuggets, writing, and question marks in headlines?

Ross Martin

Christopher Dempsey, the Nuggets beat writer for the Denver Post joins us at the Colorado Limited Studios to talk lots of Nuggets.

We start off the program with Ross Martin's headlines. We go heavy with the Broncos talk in the first segment. We talk about the fans booing just before halftime of the Broncos win over the JACKSONVILLE Jaguars last Sunday. We move to the big game coming up in Indianapolis and the rather careless comments of Jim Irsay regarding Peyton Manning. We come to the conclusion that Irsay must be that "idiot liquored up owner". So...

Then Christopher Dempsey comes in and we cover a whole slew of Nuggets related topics. Ranging from new GM Tim Connelly, to when he believes Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari will be back. We also talk about Nuggets lineups and where he believe this team will be at the end of the season. Fascinating stuff. We also talk about the changing face of writing, and his new duties as beat writer for the Post ... replacing Benjamin Hochman.

We wrap things up by trying to understand how someone who grew up in Denver could inexplicably be a fan of the Philadelphia Eagles. He handles that question well though.
