Here is a great article in CNN for those who have not seen it:
This article is writen the way I would like to see stories about this type of tragic event. It highlights the stories of the good in people. It puts the heros front and center while putting the killer in a place of a side note. I stated in another link that I believe that one of the reasons that people do things like this is partly for the fam it brings. They may be crazy, they may simply be evil, but in most cases they have read about and watched the stories of those who committed similar acts before. These people seem to too often take pleasure in the spotlight they get after the fact and this is why I really love this story and especially the part where they refer to the killer as "the gunman (who shall remain nameless)"
