Despite leading in the first half by as many as 15 points and a career-high 44 points from Rajon Rondo, the Boston Celtics crumbled in overtime to the Miami Heat.
Both the San Antonio Spurs and the Miami Heat have now taken commanding 2-0 series leads. Most NBA watchers know that's the death knell for most teams, as the 2-0 leader goes on to the next series 94% of the time. It's looking more and more like we're headed towards a Spurs-Heat Finals. Can the suffocating Miami defense compete with a Spurs team that has won 20 games in a row?
Meanwhile, the NBA Draft Lottery has concluded ... with the New Orleans Hornets ending up with the #1 draft pick! For those who are curious, here are the current pick owners for the 2012 NBA draft, 1 through 10:
1. New Orleans Hornets
6. Portland Trail Blazers (via Brooklyn Nets)
10. New Orleans Hornets (from Minnesota Timberwolves, via Los Angeles Clippers)
