This would be an excellent move. He could be such an amazing change of pace pass first PG. With Dre's nasty salary coming off the books we need a solid backup, and I'm not exactly sold on Stone. Picking up some other veteran will only continue to hold back Ty. George Karl would be loathe to run the two PG line up with a rookie so we could see the end of that era. Not to mention that Marshall has received Jason Kidd comparisons and is a Tar Heel.

He also averaged over 3 assists to turnovers - he could be the mid round steal of this draft class. We need to stop underestimating these guys who excel in a specific category as one dimensional, as evidenced by Manimal.

Read up, it's a very real possibility he will still be available when it's our turn. It would be really nice if we could shed some excess salary either through Birdman (unlikely) or Moz (more likely) to move up one or two spots in the draft.
