I say YES!
The Celtics are actively shopping Rondo. Should we move Ty and Nene/Chandler for Rondo and O'neal (for salary reasons). ?
This helps us in 2 ways.
We get an upgrade in Rondo a top 5 PG who has a very cap friendly contract a championship ring, he is an allstar and only 25. He will thrive in Karl's running offense and plays great defense.
Plus we get out of Nene's contract and O'neal is a free agent at the end of the season giving us more cap room. This also gives more playing time for Faried.
We could also do a bigger deal moving Ty, Chandler and Nene for Paul Pierce and Rondo.
