Well...

It’s weird, but usually:
poor free throw shooting = legs
poor shooting = legs
poor 3 shooting = legs
poor defense = legs
turnovers (fatigue) = legs

It just seemed like there was no energy tonight except in Bird and Ty…. I’m not sure we are the big “running” team GK wants… Gallo – really tried to bring it until he got hurt…. And I never gave up on Bird and don’t know why everyone else did, but he played great…

Rough rough loss.

When you are down as many players as the Nuggets are, you can’t win a game when you miss FTs and turn the ball over that much. Bad time for a sloppy game from the Nuggets.

You can tell the schedule is really impacting the Nuggets. I hope they survive, but it is becoming serious gut check time. Too many bad home losses. They one year the Nuggets are decent on the road and the aren’t dominating at home. Murphy’s law.

Rough game. Time for some soul searching. Wins and losses aside the Nuggets just need to execute better.

every team has at least one.

And let’s look at say the Thunder. They played last night and tonight, have a day off, then play another b2b, have a day off, and another game. They still seem to have their legs, or are at least are finding a way to push through. Look, I’m not saying the team isn’t legitimately fatigued, or that it’s unreasonable to expect it to affect performance, what I’m saying is that we cannot use it as an excuse. We need to find a way to get past the fatigue and still execute as a basketball team.

no one stepped up.

koufos sucked, a coupIe of nice pIays, but too many fouIs took him out of the game. someone teII him when you are 5ft away from the rim, dont spin to your back and post, and go up and dunk it. nice bIocks tho.

miIIer pIayed weII. aI decent, but jr wouId have at Ieast made 1 of 2 fts. ty sIoppy and not abIe to step it up in the crunch.

faried pIayed weII, Iots to Iike, his offensive game isnt that great tho, gotta work on his hands. fernandez up and down, andersen pIayed weII if karI wouId have controIIed his pt before no one wouId be compIaining about him.

gaIIo goin out. lnjured again.

if we re sign chandIer instead of jr, that’s goin to be a huge mistke. jr wouId easiIy be the 1st option on this team, i dont want to Iose any more taIented pIayers because of the coach, we can pay jr way more than what other teams can.

we payed nene, who doesnt show up Iate in games and on b2bs, affIaIo who onIy showed he’s competent in makin open shots for a season and a haIf, gaIIo who’s got lnjury issues with his styIe of pIay and stiII Iacks skiII offensiveIy. pay jr, at Ieast we know what we are goin to get with him more than any of these other guys. if he gets to pIay he is goin to put up 20 ppg easiIy, and probabIy 7 rebs and 5 assists at about 32 min. you guys Iike to project gaIIo and affIaIo when with jr you can actuaIIy make those cIaims with way more reason.

but not the solution to the Nuggets woes, he’s had too many years here to prove otherwise. Give Chandler a shot and improve the team through a much more likely scenario seeing he is a RFA.

that's a Iie, when he's got oppurtunities, jr has come up big for this team Iike against OKC in the pIayoffs.

and aIso Iast season when the offense was bad, it was jr who got it goin. when meIo was out for games, jr came in and easiIy repIaced his scorin. for the previous coupIe of seasons before that, when the team struggIed in the 1st haIf of the season, and went on a run down the stretch to make the pIayoffs, it was jr who carried them with his huge pIay off the bench.

One example

about a series the Nuggets lost 4-1. Not going to change my mind. It’s an opinion, it can’t factually be proven to be a lie.

Hilarious

Karl gets so much shit on this site while JR gets far less. Felton is hated by us all really. And btw Lawson had 27 points in game 4, he was pretty damn key too,

No I'm saying it shouldn't be one sided

both deserve flack. I still want Chandler back, one playoff series won’t make me ignore his abilities. Felton just sucks. If JR comes back I won’t be bothered, rather have Chandler though. And JR isn’t happening quite frankly.

k, i dont want chandIer back, I feeI we have a bunch of soIid compIimentary pIayers on this team, and dont want to 8miI a season for another one.

I feeI that chandIers stats wouId onIy decIine here, and his trade vaIue wouId onIy get Iower. I feeI we couId reaIIy use a guy who other teams have to guard and someone who can make pIays for others and make great passes other than miIIer on this team. i rather have jr’s attitude than chandIers im afk attitude.

we are gonna win more games here and be a more improved team with jr here than chandIer. chandIers repIaceabIe, jr not so much, ppI taIk about guys Iike thornton and crawford, but they dont have the compIete game that jr has.

when he 1st got here, and got decent pt in games where he pIayed more than 20 min before the NYK brawI, he avg 18.7 ppg.

he avg 15 ppg in 27.7 min for a coupIe of seasons, comin off the bench. and oh yea’s he’s aIso got eIite offensive skiIIs, eIite shot makin abiIity, is un guardabIe reaIIy when he gets goin, exceIIent handIes, has post up moves has so many moves off the dribbIe can adjust on his drives and make pIays happen with his eIite athIeticism.

yea jr couId easiIy avg 20 ppg. gaIIos not that great so far, i see way more taIent in jr other than bein 6’10, the onIy thing that gaIIo has shown me here from NYK is he’s more buIky and soIid, and can drive to the rim more.

When he almost pulled it out by himself. He was awesome to watch. Wish Karl would have given him half as much slack as he did Melo

I sit often in disbelief..

And watch Rudy jack up crap and last year I about threw my TV out the window watching Ray Felton shoot us out of games while JR caught the crap – ahhhhh!! I’m having a flashback and it’s DEPRESSING!!!

Here here

You could replace Rudy with Anthony Carter, Chauncey Billups, Gary Forbes, Aron Afflalo, Allen Iverson. They all took just as bad or worse shots and were poster boys. Never quite got how Karl made the distinction

He’s out. The (extended) trial had some success. But it’s over. He can score 60 points in China, but he’s still going to be hot and cold in the NBA. No thanks.

i wouId take jrs shootin against anyone on this team, ppI tried to say fernandez couId repIace jrs outside shooting yea... no.

jr’s not nash, but he’s stiII a Iot more consistent than ppI make him out to be, he’s more consistent that affIaIo, gaIIo, aI, pretty much anyone on this team.

by Rys on Feb 6, 2012 10:39 PM MST up reply actions

You could safely take jr's shooting against...

most players in the NBA :) It comes down to personallity – some folks can’t get past who he is – some of us appreciate it, others can’t stand it – like Ali (who I loved) – people ignore their talent and base opinion on personality. I said this on a past thread – I’m sure Tebow is a great guy – to me he sucks as a quarterback – and just because he’s a great guy, does NOT make him a great QB – JR, to some folks, rubs them wrong – so they say he is a bad player… hmmm…. sounds like SPORTS FANS!

A chip fracture of the foot is not an indication of being injury prone

If you saw the replay Parsons stepped on his foot while it was bent. Freak accident

STIFF LIST (as of 4/26 by Andrew Feinstein)

1. METTA WORLD PEACE

Metta resorted back to Ron Ron last Sunday by clubbing James Hardenwith an "inadvertent celebratory elbow", landing him a 7-game suspension. Apparently, changing his name didn't prevent NBA commissioner David Stern from overlooking Metta's past behavior problems.

2. CHARLOTTE BOBCATS

The 'Cats are on the verge of securing the worst winning percentage in NBA history. Given that the guy who runs the team - Michael Jordan - had previously drafted Kwame Brown and Adam Morrison, should this really be a shock?

3. OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
The team that was supposedly built to overcome the lockout-shortened season managed to lose 7 of its last 14 games, ceding the Western Conference's 1-seed to the Spurs in the process. Their reward might be a first round matchup with defending champion Dallas.

4. BILLY HUNTER AND DEREK FISHER
With report after report coming out about NBPA union head Hunter's shady, nepotistic dealings and questions arising about Fisher's own role in dealing with NBA owners behind Hunter's back during the lockout, this off-the-court scandal could prove to be more exciting than the playoffs themselves!

5. STEVE NASH AND THE PHOENIX SUNS
The Suns are on this list for squandering the last few great seasons from Nash. Nash is on this list for his stupidly stubborn loyalty to a franchise as awful as the Suns.
