Who knew signing in China could create so many issues ... on yeah, everyone did!
According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Yahoo! Sports, the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA), "has refused to give Wilson Chandler a letter of clearance to play immediately in NBA ..." Might we see the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) step in once again (like they did for Kenyon Martin, click here) to clear Chandler to play? Well, according to Sam Amick of Sports Illustrated, that's exactly what Chandler's agent expects to have happen. Remember, Chandler must be cleared by March 1st if he wants to sign with any NBA team he chooses, after March 1st - he can only sign with Denver or he must sit the season out; where he would again be a Restricted Free Agent and his rights would belong to the Nuggets.
