Yeah I get that was against the Kings in garbage time but he clearly has the athletic ability to play in the NBA and has shown that his skill in rebounding has translated well. With Bird in the doghouse, I feel like it is only a matter of time before we see more and more of Faried. Harrington is playing very well but I think George might start to rest him and some of the older players down the stretch as the minutes begin to mount.

I know Faried has struggled at practice with 'concepts'

at least he allegedly did earlier in the season.

However, he brings athleticism, toughness, rebounding, and a natural ability to play on the fly and adjust.

WHY is he not getting stints of even 2 min at the end of the 3rd quarter, for example, when everyone is looking sluggish, uninterested, and hesitant?

Amen to Manimal...

Having just lost two very bad games at home, I am also frustrated with GK. I will continue to lobby for Faried until my head spins. You would think that a flat team, dead crowd, disinterested bench, lack of rebounding, and any sort of energy would be the perfect recipe for Manimal (i.e. Hornets game) to completely change the tone of the game. How many teams out there would love to have Faried, at the very minimum coming off the bench for five minutes a game? I am guessing it would be a lot.

Shoot, just making his way to the scorers table to check in would get the crowd going crazy. Figure it out Karl and you better do it soon – unacceptable. You cannot keep Manimal on the bench and I personally think he would solve some of our currrent issues – 2nd chance points, some much needed energy in the ‘Can’, and a game changer.

Yeah I think in the case of Faried

Putting him in would be even as much for energy reasons as ‘Basketball Reasons’, haha.

We as fans should refuse to pay a dime to see the nuggs until Faried is playing 48 minutes a night and averaging 15 dunks and 15 blocks per game. some sarcasm involved

WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND

would think that the most intelligent coach of the ages are going to put Faried (a rookie) in a game that could have used some other dynamics.

STIFF LIST (as of 4/26 by Andrew Feinstein)

1. METTA WORLD PEACE

Metta resorted back to Ron Ron last Sunday by clubbing James Hardenwith an "inadvertent celebratory elbow", landing him a 7-game suspension. Apparently, changing his name didn't prevent NBA commissioner David Stern from overlooking Metta's past behavior problems.

2. CHARLOTTE BOBCATS

The 'Cats are on the verge of securing the worst winning percentage in NBA history. Given that the guy who runs the team - Michael Jordan - had previously drafted Kwame Brown and Adam Morrison, should this really be a shock?

3. OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
The team that was supposedly built to overcome the lockout-shortened season managed to lose 7 of its last 14 games, ceding the Western Conference's 1-seed to the Spurs in the process. Their reward might be a first round matchup with defending champion Dallas.

4. BILLY HUNTER AND DEREK FISHER
With report after report coming out about NBPA union head Hunter's shady, nepotistic dealings and questions arising about Fisher's own role in dealing with NBA owners behind Hunter's back during the lockout, this off-the-court scandal could prove to be more exciting than the playoffs themselves!

5. STEVE NASH AND THE PHOENIX SUNS
The Suns are on this list for squandering the last few great seasons from Nash. Nash is on this list for his stupidly stubborn loyalty to a franchise as awful as the Suns.
