Why doesn't Denver tell Carmelo he has 10 days before the contract extension is off the table? that's what i would do. Hell i would have done it back in December. by only giving him 10 days to sign the contract, Melo becomes the Nuggets' bitch. he would really have to decide... the money or NY? if he doesn't sign the contract it goes off the table, and the Nuggets trade him to the Rockets or the Mavs. I'm just saying. The Nuggets need to show melo that he is not in charge. this is pretty much a win win for Denver. if he signs, he stays in Denver... if he doesn't that gives us 10 days to make a trade and not end up with nothing. Thoughts?
