Bird
Am I the only one who see's Bird as the weakest link? Trade him for a 2012 draft pick and give his minutes to the rook.

Definitely weakest link
But lets not be hasty. I can still see him altering shots and getting boards. He should just play limited minutes and maybe Faried can pick some of those minutes up.
Can’t judge on anyone until mid-late Jan IMO.
Lets just win games in the meantime.
Gotta love the haterz. Keep that hate a comin'
It's the first game of the season.
Let’s not get crazy. w/this short hectic schedule we need all 15 players and I’m sure once those back to back to backs start everyone will get minutes.
Hey Chris Webber.......you suck.

No to mention
Once the injury bug finds Denver, we will need those extra bodies. Dirt Bird gets the home crowd into it too, that an intangible value.

I think this is just Karl playing someone he trusts over talent.
I also think with the crush of games he will be forced to extend the rotation and give minutes to the rook…I think next week is like 6 games in 8 days.
Buckets!!!!
I don't agree
Andersen is someone who is easy to undervalue because his offensive game doesn’t fit with our expectations but his value as a defensive player & rebounder are important to team success. I could understand wanting to upgrade in those areas or wanting to free up time for Faried but I don’t see a strong argument for removing those qualities from the current team.
It’s far too early to draw more than tentative conclusions at this point. I have problems with the 3-point shooting and the lack of offensive rebounds, but I can’t see removing Bird as helping this.
