I have read on here a few different times of talk that Jordan Hamilton will be moved to the D-League instead of staying on the Nuggets roster. I'm sorry if I missed this but is this for certain? I would be extremely disappointed due to my high hopes for him but considering GK's habitual preference to not play rookies (not from UNC of coarse). If anyone could shed some light on this for me it would be greatly appreciated!

I was at the game last night center court row 9

so I had a good view. It may not be fair (what is in the NBA?) but Hamilton didn’t make the most of his opportunity last night. He actually looked pretty awkward out there. D league could be the best thing for him in this shortened season.

I think Ham has great potential

Needs to develop the jumper a bit and won’t get minutes unless someone gets injured. Karl won’t give minutes to Faried or Stone either and they look better if that’s any consolation.

me too.

I think Faried will get some minutes earlier, he is just too much energy to leave on the bench

Thanks for all the responses

Maybe it will be best for him and the nuggets both long term.. but I was hoping to see some of J Ham this year and Faried as well. As good of a coach that GK is, I really hate some of his stubbornness in decisions (rookies, 2 pg’s together) but hopefully that doesn’t hurt the nuggets this season!

For a "Scorer"

Like him, getting burn playing against scrubs is better than having him on the bench for most of the season, 12th men are usually one trick specialists, mainly defense and I think Ham will do better getting his confidence up in the D-league.

Atheist for Tebow!

He may get time especially on these b2bs

Karl also said the rookies didn’t have a summer league or a 6 week training camp, so that is why he is going to ease them in.
So I see what Karl is doing, but it doesn’t mean I like it even if it is the right thing to do.

D league would be good for Jham. This team is too deep for him to get quality pt.

Hell, let him tear it up in the D League for a year, and if Rudy leaves to Europe, I believe that Hamilton would be further in his development especially the fundamentals, than if GK played him 5 minutes a game or less. I think he will jump in much quicker if he gets to take 15 shots a game.

Faried should play B2B’s for birdman IMO. Bird is so outta shape right now. Still very effective but missed dunks, no hops… He

STIFF LIST (as of 4/26 by Andrew Feinstein)

1. METTA WORLD PEACE

Metta resorted back to Ron Ron last Sunday by clubbing James Hardenwith an "inadvertent celebratory elbow", landing him a 7-game suspension. Apparently, changing his name didn't prevent NBA commissioner David Stern from overlooking Metta's past behavior problems.

2. CHARLOTTE BOBCATS

The 'Cats are on the verge of securing the worst winning percentage in NBA history. Given that the guy who runs the team - Michael Jordan - had previously drafted Kwame Brown and Adam Morrison, should this really be a shock?

3. OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
The team that was supposedly built to overcome the lockout-shortened season managed to lose 7 of its last 14 games, ceding the Western Conference's 1-seed to the Spurs in the process. Their reward might be a first round matchup with defending champion Dallas.

4. BILLY HUNTER AND DEREK FISHER
With report after report coming out about NBPA union head Hunter's shady, nepotistic dealings and questions arising about Fisher's own role in dealing with NBA owners behind Hunter's back during the lockout, this off-the-court scandal could prove to be more exciting than the playoffs themselves!

5. STEVE NASH AND THE PHOENIX SUNS
The Suns are on this list for squandering the last few great seasons from Nash. Nash is on this list for his stupidly stubborn loyalty to a franchise as awful as the Suns.
