TUESDAY: Get a copy of Mile High Sports' special Nuggets issue ... and play ping pong for free!

Mile High Sports Magazine's special Nuggets history issue comes out on Tuesday, November 1st, and you can pick up a free copy by coming to my weekly ping pong party - SMASH! - at the EXDO Event Center. Doors open at 5pm and anyone who mentions "Denver Stiffs" gets unlimited ping pong for free (otherwise it's a $5 cover charge).
Mile High Sports' amazing Nuggets' retrospective features lists on everything from the best five Nuggets ever to the nastiest bullies to the ... ahem ... biggest Stiffs. The photos are amazing and they've re-printed my journal covering my trip to Africa with Nuggets' vice president Masai Ujiri. This issue is a must-have for Nuggets fans and those who collect Nuggets memorabilia.
So since there's no basketball to speak of anytime soon, please consider coming to play ping pong with your fellow Stiffs two days before what should have been the Nuggets' season opener ... and pick up your copy of this amazing Nuggets edition of Mile High Sports Magazine.

When Chris first came to Denver, he had a UHaul, his wife and his few months old child. The Nuggets got him into a hotel and gave him Vicki’s number to find a rental car. It was the weekend, so Vicki and I drove downtown and met Chris & his wife and gave him our Tahoe for the week until he could get settled. We talked a long time just sitting in the hotel lobby about life, living in Boston (I lived there for several years), the NBA dream and stuff. Drugs are hard on people. Some more than others…

Nice story.
I don’t remember him, because there was a long hiatus from tv for me, but I’m always curious about people overcoming stuff like that. Also, the show I watched was pretty powerful.
