I guess with all the melo drama we forget that a player actually wants to stay no matter what.

I cant think he will play much longer and it might be beneficial to everyone especially Ty Lawson to keep him around. Especially if the FO is serious about building a contender post melo. I have my suspicion that as priorities go dumping salary will be way ahead of rebuilding into a winner despite the first round draft picks the nuggets might get.

I am also a san diego padres fan, so you can understand why I would be a little cynical on this subject.
