Get Off of Gortat!!!

Okay, so I have seen hundreds of posts dedicated to trading for Orlando's reserve center, Marcin Gortat.  People want to trade JR Smith for Gortat straight up in which I think is a very bad idea.

First of all, you don't trade your 6th man away for an unproven center just because the dude is seven feet tall.  People, he averaged 3 points a game and 4 rebounds a game with Orlando last year.  You wanna give away a top 5 6th man in Jr for that?  Jr averaged 15 points a game last year in which was I believe a career high.  No other 6th men were better than him other than Jamal Crawford, Jason Terry, Manu Ginobli and Al Harrington all in which started a handful of games besides Crawford and Smith.

Second, Gortat is as dumb, if not dumber than Jr Smith.  Marcin signed a nice contract with Reebok as a sponsorship for some extra dough in which there is nothing wrong with that.  But when you go and get a Nike Jordan logo tattooed on your calf right after signing with Reebok, that's not a good idea.  Then when you don't wear long socks or a leg sleeve to cover it after Reebok asked you too, then you're just getting plain stupid.  Reebok later dropped Marcin for not cooperating.  Nike Jordan has not offerd Marcin a sponshorship.

I personally think trading any of our core players ie. CB, Melo, Nene, JR, Harrington, Lawson, or AAA for Gortat is a bad idea.  Kenyon, sure why not, but anybody else NO!  So please people, we have all herd your JR for Gortat trade proposals, we don't need to hear anymore.

Thanks guys!  Have a great day!
