Around SBN: Ellenberger vs. Sanchez Heats Up, Hughes Talks Retirement

I'm fine with that as long as we get somebody good in return, like Chris Paul or Kevin Love or something.

Ya but it's bleacher report lol... I could see Chaucney leaving in a trade b/c a team like NYK or MIA will need a PG

but the idea of #10, and two late seconds and Foster for CB1 is ridiculous

I would think Indiana would push hard for Chaucney, but they won’t get him because what could’ve been teh best part of the deal (#10 for a big man) was used on a SF…

Chauncey stays unless it’s for a younger all star, and if he is traded and we don’t do well the media bashes us

You know what, SCREW THE MEDIA

Neither the Knicks nor the Heat have the assets that we’d desire because they’ve cleared so much cap space.

Chauncey could play alongside ’Reke and play well.

So here goes:

Chauncey Billups and JR for Beno Udrih, Francisco Garcia, and Sammy Dalembert.

With the selection of Cousins, it’s doubtful that they’re keeping Dalembert, and we take Garcia’s 3 years of contract obligations off their hands. Beno Udrih is a more than capable backup point guard, and Dalembert can give us a solid 20 mpg backing up at center.

What I’m hoping for is that in this scenario we don’t trade KMart’s huge expiring until the trade deadline…and Nene would only have to play 25 minutes a game since Petro can do 10 and Bird can do 15 (KMart would also do around 25-ish). In the case of an injury, we’re not as buttscrewed

#3 + #6 + #15 + #1 = QPU (Quantum Physics University) #25, and no, it's not because of Anthony Carter.
Antoine Walker will win the 2015 NBA 4-point shooting contest. That's right, I said it first.

Well, that is pretty lopsided in the Kings' favor

Whatever, add in their 2011 first rounder.

SINCE THAT WOULD MEAN WE WOULD HAVE MORE THAN ONE FIRST ROUND PICK FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 2002!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(don’t remind me who we drafted that year, though)

Chauney isn't going anywhere. PERIOD.

The fanbase would be as livid about that as Melo being traded. Not gonna happen

STIFF LIST (as of 2/7 by Andrew Feinstein)

1. THE NUGGETS AT HOME
How is it possible that a Nuggets team with this much talent can be 7-5 at home?! Things have gotten so bad that fans are clamoring for J.R. Smith to return.

2. CARMELO ANTHONY
Kobe Bryant plays through any and all ailments. Melo uses any and ailments as an excuse not to play.

3. KEVIN LOVE
Just when the T'Wolves are looking better, Love stomps on Luis Scola and lands himself a two-game suspension.

4. CHARLOTTE BOBCATS
The 'Cats have lost 11 straight and are now 3-21 ... in the Eastern Conference! This is what happens when you let an underwear salesman with a Hitler mustache run your team.

5. MIKE BROWN
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew (Google it!) got himself a one-game suspension for making contact with a referee.
