Around SBN: Ellenberger vs. Sanchez Heats Up, Hughes Talks Retirement

I just heard about this trade. I'm a GSW fan so obviously I have my own ideas about it, but I wanted to know what Denver fans thought of this potential trade.

I'd rather jeep kenyon

Wasn’t biedrins in nelly’s doghouse the whole last season and gadzuric is to old. If our front office is going to trade kenyon he has alot of value with that expiring contract and plays great D so we better get our moneys worth anything less then m gasol or a first round draft pick will be a waste for Kenyon

Biedrins was injured for most of last season.

And practically every player Nellie has ever coached has been in his doghouse at some point.

denver would not want any additional multi year deals to carry over into the new collective bargaining agreement

aaron gray is an unrestricted free agent and is just as stiff as biendrins.

no.....nobody can. they are too complex to understand

if denver takes on contracts that extend into the new CBA they will pay more vs. waiting for new numbers that will be less in the new contract. i can see denver doing it once for less then 5 million but not multiple contracts with multiple years for more then one player that would approach 10 milion a year.

It's over 50 pages long, and nobody has had the patience to read the entire thing start to end and memorize everything

What the heck?

I hope this is a joke.

Although it is true that Karl likes hardworking white stiffs like Foster and Gadzuric…

I like this trade

Biedrins is undervalued at this point because he has been destroyed by bad coaching at both Golden State an on his national team. He’s a great defender and a natural rebounder (better in pretty much every area than Kenyon) who pushes Nene over to his more natural power forward spot. Basketball wise this is a no-brainer win for the Nuggets.

Of course, there are the contract implications. Gadzuric is an expiring, so the net change is 3 years past this one of Biedrins at 9 mill per season. 4 years, 36 mil contract. I think that’s actually pretty reasonable for a decent starting center. And he’s only 24 years old.

He's not that great a defender

but he’s a really good rebounder when he’s fit (I would argue top-15 in the league) and he can protect the rim.

i hope this does not happen

Biedrins isn’t valuable enough to trade KMart’s height/D/intangables

by InboundingLobPass on Jun 25, 2010 12:40 AM MDT via mobile reply actions

But we can get better value for Kenyon

And plus, Kenyon would own him at everything else. He’s a better rebounder, defender, offensive player, team leader, and he isn’t as crazily skinny

Biedrins is so bad, he makes Birdman look like a grade A defender

So…no.

Chris Andersen could be in a porno with his 'stache. Too bad he still wouldn't know how to box out.

1. THE NUGGETS AT HOME
How is it possible that a Nuggets team with this much talent can be 7-5 at home?! Things have gotten so bad that fans are clamoring for J.R. Smith to return.

2. CARMELO ANTHONY
Kobe Bryant plays through any and all ailments. Melo uses any and ailments as an excuse not to play.

Just when the T'Wolves are looking better, Love stomps on Luis Scola and lands himself a two-game suspension.
