Nuggets revert to old, bad habits
This article was mostly correct, except that it says that we may miss Dahntay Jones. That's just total BS. Although it calls out Chauncey, JR, and Melo to a degree, it also mentions the injuries to everybody and especially to Kenyon Martin and Birdman.

People think the Nuggets are robots
I can tell you from experience it is hard to focus without your head coach.
I played basketball in college and my coach died of a heart attack during the middle of the season.
I definitely didn’t play the same way. It is hard to, I say te assistant coach try his best to will us, but we just couldn’t play as hard. Our practices were shorter and he never held us accountable for anything, he just wanted to get through the season.

The whole atmosphere of my team was a solemn one. We were associated with the dead coach, and we did not have the fire we once had.
Given the circumstances, the Nuggets played really well. They did try hard, but just didn’t have their brave leader. I hate how people said they didn’t give effort. The critics shoudl be in their position before they can criticize so freely.
Do you think maybe there is a coincidence that the Nuggets “reverted to bad habits” a little bit after Karl went down?
I am glad to see the Nuggets are humans, the Karl sickness has clearly affected them.
