Rick Reilly on George Karl's cancer treatments...
I've had my differences with ESPN's Rick Reilly, but here Reilly is at his best taking us into the depressingly sad and tough reality that Nuggets head coach George Karl is living in right now.

How Terrible
I just hope he makes it out cancer free. What a terrible thing it is. Great article but really fucked up.
He should focus on his health
and at most be coach in an advisory role. Chemo and radiation seems like the art of how close can we come to killing the patient in an attempt to kill the cancer. Karl needs to keep his strength up so that, if need be, his doctors can push the envelope a little further if the doctors need to.
perspective for all of us
Go George! Hang tough! Coach as much as is feasible and sensible…that’s what you do…coach. Go Nuggets!
Everytime the Nuggets Lose..
I’m going to read this article again. Because no matter how much the loss hurts, it’ll never be as painful as what coach is going through right now.

Man, this just isn't fair to Karl
I know people say life is unfair, but this really sucks. We’re pulling for you Karl.
Karl Is Going to Beat This
If there is one thing you can say about George Karl is that he is tenacious. He was a tenacious player, is a tough and tenacios coach and clearly a gutty patient and human being. I am really pulling for him, and am confident he will be on the bench doing what he does best when the Nuggs beat the Cavs for the NBA championship. GO GEORGE!!!
