fort wayne coach is joey meyer

he is the former depaul coach and son of hall of fame coach the late ray meyer. coach ray passed away on st. patrick’s day 2006. coach joey meyer has developed players like terry cummings and tyronne corbin. both players had very long and productive careers in the nba. corbin is a long time assistant coach for jerry sloan in utah. corbin was passed over for the bulls head coaching job by vinny del negro. coach joey meyer can help kurz become a solid nba player.

More recently

Coach Meyer had a lot to do with Ramon Sessions development while Sessions was in the D-League.

I blog at Ridiculous Upside. I know you'll love it.

I love your blog, Scott, though I don't comment an awful lot (at all, actually).

GK once said that he loves Kurz's game, despite the fact that he's from Duke

HE said that Kurz reminded him of Kleiza, and we all know how much Karl loved Kleiza…

Here’s Kleiza driving to the basket for Olympiakos. Evidently, he was one of the Euroleague’s leading scorers. However, he only averaged 4.8 rebounds per game.

"We have a great bunch of outside shooters. Unfortunately, all our games are played indoors." - Weldon Drew
"I really didn't want it, but now that I've won it, it's nice. It's an honor. It's nice to know people don't think you're a total idiot. ... It must have been a poor year for coaches." - Doug Moe...talking about winning 1987-88 Coach of the Year award.

kurz went to notre dame

that is the reason he decided to play for fort wayne. kleiza scoring and not playing defense. he must have picked up that bad habit in europe.

STIFF LIST (as of 2/7 by Andrew Feinstein)

1. THE NUGGETS AT HOME
How is it possible that a Nuggets team with this much talent can be 7-5 at home?! Things have gotten so bad that fans are clamoring for J.R. Smith to return.

2. CARMELO ANTHONY
Kobe Bryant plays through any and all ailments. Melo uses any and ailments as an excuse not to play.

3. KEVIN LOVE
Just when the T'Wolves are looking better, Love stomps on Luis Scola and lands himself a two-game suspension.

4. CHARLOTTE BOBCATS
The 'Cats have lost 11 straight and are now 3-21 ... in the Eastern Conference! This is what happens when you let an underwear salesman with a Hitler mustache run your team.

5. MIKE BROWN
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew (Google it!) got himself a one-game suspension for making contact with a referee.
