Bulls Dont Want Tyrus Thomas...
I know he is not really a big, but he is like a KMart Ariza combination type player... hes a young athletic PF who can D up well and can really dunk... he also did great in the playoffs, apparently the Bulls are sick of him and dont want him anymore so they are saying that no teams have made offers... so why dont we just offer Balkman, plus 2 min guys with a 2nd rounder. it works in the trade machine... Its not like we are giving up any rotation players.... Tyrus Thomas could be consider a rich man's Renaldo Balkman but, he is a lot younger and has much better offense.... So lets see if denver takes advantage of Chicago's situation

chicago will want too much
denver will wait until after the season. there will be all kinds of players available then. nuggets will have the pick of the litter. they will be throwing themselves at denver.
pick up a calf every day pretty soon you will be picking up a cow
I like Thomas
I think he would fit in great here in Denver. His style of play is very emotional, similar to K-Mart’s. In fact, that’s kind of what he is, a mini K-Mart.
I would love the deal
I could see this being another JR type deal where Thomas has great potentiol and we get him for a bag of peanuts. Unfortanely, I think nohoops4u is right. I think Chicago ill ask for much more. Including a future 1st.
Tyrus wants to start
We may be able to convince him otherwise, but they’ll want some stuff in return. Petro + Allen + (somebody) doesn’t cut it.

caveat emptor
The major reason why the Bulls want to move TT is that he’s percieved as a major headcase by the Chicago’s FO. Chatter on Bulls blogs list him as uncoachable on the court and a distraction off it. I like his potential but if he has a discipline problem, he may not be worth it.

read matt moore's article on NBA fanhouse
There may be some hyperbole there, but it’s still a good general picture of what you get with TT.

Hoopshype also has us linked with...
Camby- blah. and on a disconnected note, they mentioned that Hakim Warrick was also available.
Personally, I’d rather have Thomas because he’s young, but a lot can be said for Warrick – still farily young, can hit a 15 footer and is a good shot blocker and rebounder. and doesn’t have a lot of baggage. But on the other hand, perhaps a change of scenery would do Thomas some good. are any of these realistic? Warrick? – Maybe the Bucks are just more interested in saving money at this point in the season? it seems like the asking price for Thomas is too hight and Camby just sucks.
This trade works for me… not sure why Bulls would do it though.
Tyrus is imo a less polished KMart. Him, KMart and Suns rookie Earl Clark are very similar players, with the exception that Clark is a much better shooter than those two.
But I’d take Tyrus if they’d do that deal. Nice to have another big to throw at Lakers… with Kenyon “guiding” him, Tyrus might just become another KMart on defensive end.
LOL just posted a FanPost about Thomas's production
He’s better than Balkman, CombatChuk, and they’ll only want expirings in return for him
