Three Nuggets in the All-Star game?

It's a possibility.  It's starting to sound more and more like Kobe will not play in the all-star game.  With Chauncey Billups and Chris Kaman already going from snub to star due to injuries, its possible Nene could be selected to the all star game as a replacement.  Though you have to wonder if David Stern would put three Nuggets on the roster.  Andrew Bynum is banged up as well so it's possible that he will not be eligible to play.  Really this leaves you with a few options.  Either its going to be Nene or one of these three- Marc Gasol, Carlos Boozer or Carl Landry.  Seems like Booz would get the nod, he's been playing well as of late, but heres hoping to get a third Nug in the game!

if ellis is healthy its him

also tyreke evans is making a case… as much as i like nene, i dnt think stern puts him on the all star team, i actually think kmart desrves it as much

I hope not

While its cool Melo n CB are ‘all stars’, I haope neither of them plays in the all star game. CB can still do the 3pt but with the injuries it would be nice if they were responsible and took this week to rest

Nene: no chance. But K-Mart?...

I was wondering about that absence...

maybe he eliminated him due to injury?

Because Montana has no professional sports, I gotta support the land of my birth.

Socrates was once executed for 'trolling'.
^Needs explaining: don't call someone asking uncomfortable, slightly antagonistic questions trolls. In all odds they probably just want to learn. It's real easy to differentiate a 'Socratic' post from a trolling one (unless you're a resident of WCG).
^Needs further explaining: I have yet to post anything on WCG, don't worry, I'm not trying to rationalize anything I've done. I've just lurked over there and man, they are the model of post-peloponnesian war Athens.

If Kobe doesn't play

Then why would a Center/PF replace a guard? Roy is out as well, so the only guards are D-Will, Billups and Nash right?

Yeah...

but that could happend for the same reason Kaman replaced Brandon Roy.

If Kobe doesnt go then Boozer gets the nod…has to.

Lol, you guys are such Nuggets homers

Nene doesn’t deserve to be in the All-Star game one bit. Carlos Boozer, from our neighboring Utah Jazz has been tearing it up lately, and is the rightful player do be awarded the spot. Also, Monta Ellis should get serious consideration.

Jason Kidd got the nod

Kobe and AI were offically ruled out today (I bet Phil thught his buddy GK would run Kobe fr 48 minutes haha). Jason Kidd is replacing Kobe and David Lee is replacing AI. Got this from ESPN.

Seriously?

Whatever, it’s not like Nene/KMart had much of a shot anyway

Jason Kidd?

That’s terrible but I guess I can stand it because of the career achievement thing…

I'm happy for Lee

He deserves it more than anybody. But Kidd? I don’t think anybody even mentioned his name as a replacement for Kobe.

oi Jason Kidd

Talk about a homer pick, the only reason he makes the game is because its in Dallas. The reason I didn’t put K-mart as an option is because I think it’s best for him to rest the knee for two weeks

Why live life on the edge, when you can jump off?

Oh, I see now

I was thinking “Jason Kidd!!!” What? It at least makes a little more sense now that I realized that. Still it’s total bull shit that he got the nod over Monta.

GK gets to pick the new starting guard for Kobe

CB1 will start now for sure. How about that, Denver is going to have 2 starter in the All Star Game. This info was at the bottom of the ESPN story Garrett Olsen mentioned. Thanks for the link

STIFF LIST (as of 2/7 by Andrew Feinstein)

1. THE NUGGETS AT HOME
How is it possible that a Nuggets team with this much talent can be 7-5 at home?! Things have gotten so bad that fans are clamoring for J.R. Smith to return.

2. CARMELO ANTHONY
Kobe Bryant plays through any and all ailments. Melo uses any and ailments as an excuse not to play.

3. KEVIN LOVE
Just when the T'Wolves are looking better, Love stomps on Luis Scola and lands himself a two-game suspension.

4. CHARLOTTE BOBCATS
The 'Cats have lost 11 straight and are now 3-21 ... in the Eastern Conference! This is what happens when you let an underwear salesman with a Hitler mustache run your team.

5. MIKE BROWN
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew (Google it!) got himself a one-game suspension for making contact with a referee.
