So the Heat are playing in Cleveland on Thursday on TNT. It's the second of a back to back and third in four nights. They are bringing in extra police and security. Anyone caught with an Anti-Lebron sign or clothing will have it taken away. It's going to be must see TV.
The whole thing is going to be quite a scene. The possibility of violence (which I am not advocating and hope does not occur) is very real. But, for us as Nuggets fans, it gives the opportunity to speculate about what will happen, and to suggest creative chants for the crowd. The fans in Cleveland have had a while to come up with some good demonstrations for Lebron. Booing through the entire game is possible. The "Fuck Lebron" chant is possible. All of the fans turning their backs to the court in silence as James is introduced, as if nothing of significance is occuring, is possible. What will TNT do with the sound if the crowd is chanting "Fuck Lebron" for the whole game? Would they go back to the studio and do play by play from there? Pretty sure the FCC wouldn't let them broadcast two hours of "Fuck Lebron" chants.
What do you guys think? All in all, I'd pay a lot of money to be at this game, but I'll settle for watching it play out on TNT.
