Like every other Nuggets fan I was surprised and elated that the team came together to win in the mist of injuries to two of their biggest star players (Melo & Billups). The game against the Jazz showcased the defensive intensity and passing game that allowed a trip to the playofffs and eventually the Western Conference Finals last season. Some have wondered where that kind of teamwork and intensity have been at times thus far this season.
While I'm sure having four days rest leading up to the game didn't hurt, I hope this game can be one thats looked upon in the future for inspiration.
