The Journal Times is reporting that the odds are "slim to none" that Karl will be back coaching the Nuggs next year.  Thec Nuggets low-ball offer to Karl was a clear sign that they are ready to move in another direction.  With Karl schmoozing Rod Thorn this week at the Doug Moe Dinner, it is all making sense now.  Of course, if Karl wins an NBA Championship this year, I think Kroenke would have to pony up the 7-8 million per year George is looking for.
