Camby on trading block?
3:57PM ET Marcus Camby | Clippers Top Email
Marcus Camby is near the top of players teams are looking to trade for because of his talent and expiring contract. The Clippers at this time are not entertaining thoughts, of trading him, even though it doesn't look good for them to make the playoffs.
"Everybody on our team could be traded," Clippers general manager/head coach Mike Dunleavy told AOL FanHouse in December. "But we're not looking to trade him at all."
On Thursday night Dunleavy said, "Committed at that time. But yet I said about all our guys, if a deal comes up that makes sense for us we don't have anybody that's not tradeable ... None of us know what's out there. So I can't say somebody is untradeable, and it won't happen."
"I want to be here, but I said the same thing when I was in Denver," said Camby. "So it remains to be seen ... The NBA is a business. You can get your hopes up and then you get your hopes and dreams crushed."

I would love to have Camby back
Dumping his salary and not using the TE we got from him was still a really dumb move. I think he is exactly what we need, and to think that we had him only a year ago kind of hurts the head.
he is exactly not what we need. did you not watch the clippers-nuggets game? i’d rather be outrebounded every night if it meant not watching him throw up that horrendous slingshot jumpshot from the top of the key every play down. that shot alone cancels out his rebounding. he’s also a horrid 1 on 1 defender.
I Agree
with Nugz Nugz 100% on this one.

Like JR, K-Mart, Melo, Chauncey, shoot everyone on the team for that matter doesn't take bad shots?
Sure Camby does it, but no worse than K-Mart and Jr at times. To say you would rather not have that than his 12 plus boards per game, great leadership and 2 blocks per game seems a bit naive.

Sorry GN
I tend to agree with G.O. and NN on this one. Camby is NOT what the Nuggets need. His defense is way overrated and given his age and slight frame, do not think he could truly play effective post defense on the bigs we would need him to.
Now, DeAndre Jordan…there’s a different story. What about that Juwai guy on the Twolves? He’s a freakin’ monster.
Swats.
I would love to have DeAndre or Juwai
But to say that we don’t need Camby I just disagree with. In no way do I see his playing affecting the Nuggets negatively.

what we need is...
7-feet, 270-pounds of De-Andre Jord-an (clap clap, clap clap clap).
