Denver trades Steven Hunter to the Grizzlies
From http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/news;_ylt=AgzhQ2taj233B.fy9vUjKpu8vLYF?slug=aw-nuggetstrade080709&prov=yhoo&type=lgns :
Denver has traded Steven Hunter and a lottery-protected 2010 first-round pick to Memphis for a future second rounder, a league source told Y! Sports on Friday.
Trading Hunter saves $3.67 million in salary and luxury tax off Denver’s books and clears a roster spot.
****************************************************************************************************************************
The Nuggets will most likely have to give up their first round pick in 2010 considering they will probably do really well this season.
This deal frees a lot of money for Denver, but Memphis gets the most out of it talent-wise considering the Nuggets get a second-round pick.
