We should target one of the Bobcats Guards....

According to a source (http://bobcatsplanet.com/wp/di...bcats-is-a-done-deal and DIME mag is reporting it too) that Iverson has agreed to go to the bobcats, which i thought was a great fit for them both. Well know they have an abundance of guards, so we could come in and help. They are very money consious so they could just give up someone for the TPE or also need a back up SF so balkman could also work. What do you think? Of course i would want Boris Diaw(PF) but that would be almost impossible to get unless for like a deal like K Mart for Diaw and Vlad Radmonovic (bad contract).... But i was thinking just try to get mayb raja bell for the TPE ... thoughts?

Nugs need another guard like they need Billups to break his leg

The nugs are short on bigs not guards. The only way a guard would work is if it was for a guy who could fill it up off the bench.

money money money

everything the nuggets do with the roster from this point on will be directly tied to the salary cap, tax and long terms deals. look at last year when dahntay jones was a D leaguer and chris andersen was out of the nba for 2 years due to suspension. denver wants to pay as little tax as possible. they go about it by a one year deal at the minimum salary. unless it is a major deal like last year when they did billups for iverson it ain’t going to happen. i like kmart and think he is worth every penny he is paid. he has 2 years and 30 million+ to go on his deal. the front office would like to unload his contract but i cannot see it happening this year. i think it is pretty simple from this point on. there are all kinds of players that can help denver. i cannot see the nugs doing a deal with carolina just so ai can get a roster spot with them.

K-Mart for Diaw and Vlad would be interesting.

We’d really miss K-Mart’s mean streak and defense, but Diaw is an underrated playmaker who can play all positions, and Vlad is a capable backup SF. However, it really just is one big-contract somewhat overpaid player for two smaller-contract somewhat overpaid players (Diaw isn’t THAT overpaid, but Vlad is).

heeeeeeeeeere's the deal

the bobcats are for sale so they will not do anything that gives them added financial obligations. to move kmart 2 things must happen. a team will have to take his contract at 30 million for 2 years AND the nuggets get a starting center. nene becomes the starting power forward. not being able to get rid of kmart is a nice problem to have and a blessing in disguise UNLESS he gets hurt. the only upside to that is if an injury ends his career, insurance pays the money and the nba gives denver an injury waiver to the salary cap. look for the nuggets to bring in nick fazekas a 6’11" shooter. denver cut him in training camp last year and he played for boston in the summer league.

I'm definitely not sold on Nick Fazekas.

He’d ride the bench if he came over to us, and he’s more of a PF, not a C

STIFF LIST (as of 2/7 by Andrew Feinstein)

1. THE NUGGETS AT HOME
How is it possible that a Nuggets team with this much talent can be 7-5 at home?! Things have gotten so bad that fans are clamoring for J.R. Smith to return.

2. CARMELO ANTHONY
Kobe Bryant plays through any and all ailments. Melo uses any and ailments as an excuse not to play.

3. KEVIN LOVE
Just when the T'Wolves are looking better, Love stomps on Luis Scola and lands himself a two-game suspension.

4. CHARLOTTE BOBCATS
The 'Cats have lost 11 straight and are now 3-21 ... in the Eastern Conference! This is what happens when you let an underwear salesman with a Hitler mustache run your team.

5. MIKE BROWN
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew (Google it!) got himself a one-game suspension for making contact with a referee.
