Melo has decided to sue his former manager for misappropriating more than 2 million dollars and additionally transferring without Melo's knowledge more than $250k to a company the manager (Harmon) started.

It seems that Carmelo's changing to a new management team and their looking closely at the books allowed these financial discrepancies to arise.  When reached for comment the former manager didn't even know he was being sued and said something to the effect of, "We'll have to see just what Melo is accusing me of..." 

It really must be hard for a pro athlete who makes millions of dollars to lose a couple large to one of the people he is supposed to be able to trust...  it appears Mr. Harmon's fadeaway jumper has been rejected.
