Great read, and I would love for Hill to join the Spurs. I, like many, have been a fan of his since the ’90’s, and I felt bad for him this past season. I have no idea why Porter was bringing him off the bench for awhile, he played great and got into every game, even had a couple of scary highlight dunks.
I think he still has more than a few years left in him judging from his play this past season. His explosiveness and durability really impressed me.
He definitely didn’t look like a 36 year old… looked like his was in better shape than the majority of players in the L.
I did see an interview with him while Barnes was starting for the Suns, and he vocally expressed that he was not very comfortable coming off of the bench and was struggling to get in a rhythm; so I’m not sure if that would be cause for concern.
