Good to have you on the live thread...
…it’s almost worth missing out on the HD, yes?
It's not the Lakers I hate with every bone in my body, it's just the players and their fans.
We got HD flowing in my place now ... 50'' plasma and HD ... it's nice.

He's classy
I always see him at the Starbucks in Castle Rock, always receptive to “Awesome work, Birdman!”
Buy him an Apple Fritter for me, will you?
It's not the Lakers I hate with every bone in my body, it's just the players and their fans.
My buddy was playing some pickup with Bird while he was suspended.
Said the guy liked to shoot the three ball in those pickup games. Probably better than just dunking on a bunch of fools. Chris Marlowe plays in those games too … (voice of the Nuggets on Altitude)

These games kill me ... so nervous. Feeling good though.

JR should keep driving the ball...
since Kobe is pretty tired, JR is much quicker.

Kobe is dead on D ... I'd take him to the hole every time.

I agree...
Lots more life… Not as many of those jumpers/missed 3s.

I think if we're able to keep driving at the them, make them work that much harder
The wonderful altitude of 5,280 feet will start getting to them…
drive drive drive drive!!!!!!!!!

Lakers keep responding …

Man, they need to knock down a few threes
1 for 10 is not going to cut it. I dont’ know why they aren’t falling this series
Lakers are getting tired....
they’re fouling like crazy!
It's not the Lakers I hate with every bone in my body, it's just the players and their fans.

As a soccer fan
I know a dive when I see one. Kobe took a dive when Dahntay tripped him. It was a trip for sure, but Kobe could’ve stayed on his feet.

Lakers only down 11 … gotta have a strong opening here.
Bynum’s elbow to Melo’s back was pretty dirty as well!!!!!

Pivotal 4th quarter.....
They’ve outscored them in every quarter (just like in Game 3)

Dang early start on Wednesday
I either leave work way early or stay late in order to catch the whole game.

I’m in California, so it’s at 5. I have a long commute, so that would mean leaving work at like 3:30.
I heard from JR Smith
That the new name for the Pepsi Center is the Smith’s M.F. Residence? Is this true?
I heard that as well...

Okay, that's a tad better.
I thought it started at 6:30 mtn. I would still have to leave work at like 4. Might not be doable.

Probably just a 1 ...
Bynum was just making sure Bird didn’t get the shot off … not a bad hard foul there imo.

Late 4th, Lakers trying to inbound. Turnover. Billups layup. Ball game.
Always the inbounds plays..

It sucks that I missed it,
but holidays=beer for me.
Aprende epsañol y esto tendra mas sentido para ti.
Mine too.
Which is good, since I live alone and shouting by myself always makes me feel a bit crazy.
Big performance despite a banged-up and puking-sick Melo with 3-16 shooting.
Here’s the key: The Nugs outrebounded LA and their “great” bigs 58-40 (including 20-9 on the offensive glass). Guarantees a game 6 at the Can on Friday and sets up a HUGE game 5 in LA on Wednesday! Go Nugs!
One more thing: Can the crazy Lakers fans finally admit the Nugs are close to their equal?
Probably too much to ask from them, but I get sick and tired of hearing:
At the beginning of the series – LA Sweep
After game 2 – Lakers eat the McNuggets in 5
Probably after tonight: Lakers will smoke the NUggest in game five and take it in six.
I’m tired of nonsensical ravings from the lunatics. The Lakers aren’t dominant this year and the Nuggets should probably be up 3-1 right now (taking either game 1 or 3). This is going to be a dog-fight to the end.
Good game y'all
Nuggets outplayed and outworked the Lakers fair and square. Too bad the officials had to ruin the game at the end by making themselves the stars. This game could have done without that. See y’all on Wednesday at Staples.
My prediction is that the refs will suck again, but in favor of the Lakers. But I’m hoping that doesn’t happen

Nene, Birdman, K-Mart
First time since the Jazz in 1994 that 3 teammates have had at least 3 rebounds in a playoff game.
Not to mention
Against the Lakers’ “vaunted” front line.

serious question
why does every coach in the league give postgame comments sitting at the table but phil jackson stands at a lectern?
He had hip replacement surgery a while back.
No idea if that has anything to do with it though.

It was muted
So I didn’t hear, but quite funny to watch.
The 2009 Colorado Rockies: Expect the Unexpected
I think the part you were talking about was...
when he was talking about JR’s emotions and saying he shouldn’t get too happy/mad before we beat the lakers but if we beat them in this series he will grab the monkey and music machine and the four of them will do a dance or something like that lol

He did complain about Dante's trip, but stopped short of calling him dirty.
But overall, I’d agree. And Dante did trip him.
i think he was as honest as he could be about it
dahntay almost certainly did trip kobe. im glad he did too
Off the court, that is
He bitches all the time on the court
The 2009 Colorado Rockies: Expect the Unexpected
And again.
When they were leaving, Chauncey says, “Watch your step there, Swish” while JR stepping off the podium with his daughter. LOL.
Omg I'm watching altitude,
but I have to tape the replay of sportscenter that wil hopefully have this…it sounds so cute!

It probably won't be on SportsCenter.
I’m watching live on NBA.com.
You might be able to catch the earlier moment, though, on the archived videos. They usually don’t have the entire press conference, but will have snippets. Someone asked JR if he was down on himself after game 3. He said yes, but luckily he has great coaches and teammates that help him out, stay in the gym with him, etc. Chauncey asked if he was in the coaches or teammates category. JR laughed, and said “Probably in between.”
Thanks Holly...
they did show the earlier moment on Altitude…so cute!!! I just geek out with jr/chauncey moments since I love the bond they have!

Just got home from the game…man, that was fun. First beatdown of the series. Huge confidence builder. Nuggets can win in a lot of different ways. Lakers can’t say the same. The series is ours for the taking!
GO NUGS!!!
"C" is for Championship...that's good enough for meeeee!!!
no doubt
imagine the Lakers with Kobe going 3 for 16 or whatever Melo ended up. They’d be sunk. Great game tonight for the bigs, JR, and CB7. Can’t believe they were able to dominate the paint essentially without Melo. He had no elevation tonight at all. Sick and with a bum ankle.

Nuggets have now won 11 of the 16 quarters played...
Lakers have won 4 with one tie.
Kinda makes you think Karl had a point in the interview where he said the Nuggets have outplayed the Lakers for most of this series.
But it also makes you realize how important it is to close out games because 2 of the quarters the Lakers have won have been the 4th in games 1 and 3.
Scott Hastings speaks the truth:
“If the bigs continue to play the way they did tonight then the Nuggest win teh series without question”
"C" is for Championship...that's good enough for meeeee!!!
Unfortunately
…this was one game and its not very likely they dominate again the way they did tonight.
