Around SBN: Kobe Bryant Will Never Top Michael Jordan

The WWE has just mocked Stan Kroenke right now....

I have a bad feeling the WWE is going to make fun of the Nuggets and the NBA. I just saw this minutes ago on USA Network. I hope the Denver media, the Rocky, the Post, KWGN, KCNC, KUSA and KDVR see this. This is a slap in the face to Mr. Kroenke, the Nuggets, the NBA and David Stern. Seeing Kroenke being imitated is a slap in the fact to this franchise, and is uncalled for. I think the Nuggets and the NBA should have a lawsuit against World Wrestling Entertainment for what's happening now on Monday Night Raw in Los Angeles. We NBA fans should boycott the WWE and USA Networ for this.

From KCNC's website:

http://cbs4denver.com/sports.wwe.nba.pepsi.2.1019016.html
Included were a fake David Stern, a fake Stan Kroenke….
I wonder what ESPN, and the Post’s Woody Paige from ‘Around the Horn’ would say.
Disney (which owns ESPN), and the NBA must be furious at the WWE and NBC Universal (USA Network owns USA Network, home of Monday Night Raw).
This is going to start a war between fake wrestling and a real league?
Outside the Lines is going to have a field day on this…

really, who cares what the WWE thinks?

I’ll join your boycott, but since I’ve been “boycotting” the WWE my entire life it won’t be that much of a sacrifice for me.

I actually saw that.

I guess Vince McMahon is really ticked off with the situation, but it’s kind of pathetic if you ask me.

If anyone in the WWE mattered...

they would have a better network that USA. Home of the reruns and washups. Don’t worry about it. Aside from that, Kroenke would beat McMahon’s old senile ass up and down.

Ha Ha Its so DumB

I stopped watching TV Wrestling when I was 10. I think its a ridiculous stunt, but like they say there’s no such thing as bad publicity. I dont watch the USA network anyways, they have crappy programming and this sounds like a stupid media war.

STIFF LIST (as of 4/26 by Andrew Feinstein)

1. METTA WORLD PEACE

Metta resorted back to Ron Ron last Sunday by clubbing James Hardenwith an "inadvertent celebratory elbow", landing him a 7-game suspension. Apparently, changing his name didn't prevent NBA commissioner David Stern from overlooking Metta's past behavior problems.

2. CHARLOTTE BOBCATS

The 'Cats are on the verge of securing the worst winning percentage in NBA history. Given that the guy who runs the team - Michael Jordan - had previously drafted Kwame Brown and Adam Morrison, should this really be a shock?

3. OKLAHOMA CITY THUNDER
The team that was supposedly built to overcome the lockout-shortened season managed to lose 7 of its last 14 games, ceding the Western Conference's 1-seed to the Spurs in the process. Their reward might be a first round matchup with defending champion Dallas.

4. BILLY HUNTER AND DEREK FISHER
With report after report coming out about NBPA union head Hunter's shady, nepotistic dealings and questions arising about Fisher's own role in dealing with NBA owners behind Hunter's back during the lockout, this off-the-court scandal could prove to be more exciting than the playoffs themselves!

5. STEVE NASH AND THE PHOENIX SUNS
The Suns are on this list for squandering the last few great seasons from Nash. Nash is on this list for his stupidly stubborn loyalty to a franchise as awful as the Suns.
