Tempo free Boxscore
A note from Nate (yes, I can edit or hijack these posts myself!) Anyhow: This tempo free boxscore offers some pretty good insight to the game and is pretty much all about the Nuggets. Check it out.
This is a "tempo-free" boxscore as posted on Silver Screen and Roll by "Dexter Fishmore". He posts this after every game and also posts "cumulative" stats for the series after each game as well. It is a great way to get the feel of the game without the bias of typical statistics. There is obviously some homerism in the post, but I don't know how to link to the "statistics" only. There are also some interesting statistics on the Nuggets 3 shooting guards. Here is the link, take a look, it usually shows interesting stuff.

They're completely right
The guard positions need a complete overhaul in the offseason, whether the Nugs win the series or not.

Karl loves Carter. Like eros type of love.
Why else would he take out Birdman to put a 6’1" fossil in to inbounds a pass?
Seriously though, everyone is blaming AC for the bad inbounds pass (even Karl with his, “would I have preferred he take a time-out? Yes.” quote) yet the fault rests solely on the shoulders of GK. You can’t seriously expect an iddy-biddy guard to pass the ball over the top of Lamar Odom. And why was Chauncey the only option? Draw up a real inbounds play next time please, and leave AC on the bench. In a suit. With a clipboard.
Billups wasn't the only option
Melo was the first (and third) option. Billups was the 2nd option. The problem is multifaceted. Melo came out doubled, so AC was supposed to go to Billups, but missed the ideal location to throw him the ball. As he focused in on Billups, Chauncey came racing toward AC to facilitate the leak out pass, but as he was doing this, the third option, Melo, finally came open. But Carter by this point was locked into Billups, and never saw Ariza coming late (as he had been screened, leaving Billups open on Option 2).
Finally, the last bit of blame goes to Billups for not going TOWARDS the ball.
But in the end, all of the credit goes to Trevor Ariza. Great hustle.
