Another One
The loss to the Grizzlies is yet another loss in the disturbing category. It is another loss to a team that we didn't lose AT ALL to last year. I remember making this comment after the loss against the Bobcats, thinking it would be a wake up call. Sadly, I was mistaken. Add this one to the sad list of losses against the Clippers, T'wolves, Heat, Bobcats, and now the Grizzlies. But on the other hand, we are now below .500 on the road, and George should try and do something to get us back up to that mark. These terrible starts are doing us in pretty badly, and it seems like George is not motivating the team enough to start the game. Does he start eating his cough drops before the games now? Anyway, I think a great coach that fits our needs is Avery Johnson. He is a fiery, no nonsense kind of coach that seems to give his team a real kick in the pants. I always took the side of George before thinking that he would be smart enough to adjust problems after a bad game, but now i just seems like he doesn't care, making excuses and blaming the players or the start time of the game even when it is obvious that his questionable lineups and relaxing on the bench are to blame. There's a tough stretch coming up in the games, and we really need a renewed effort, and it all starts with the mindset of the coach. Hopefully George sees that and turns in to the George of old, yelling at everyone he sees. What do you guys think?

I think
Karl has a firm grasp on the tact required to effectively prepare a team to play strong fundamental basketball. Whether that translates to a W every time is debatable. However, we look pretty good so far this season and I hope the trend continues. I think we’re one key player away from having to come up with some other excuse after tough losses like this one to Memphis…

Karl is horrible
I’m tired of our team making a run or clawing our way back and him subbin and then it goes to shit again. I’m ready for Karl to be gone.
While Randolph is a good player, his stats show how horrible the Nuggets are at the hustle points ( rebounds and boxing out)
Lets trade AC, Allen and Petro for Marc Gasol and whatever else we have to give up.
Karl
is a 900 game winner, got the Nuggets the furthest they have ever gone in the playoffs in franchise history and got the Nuggets off to he best 26 game start in franchise history. He won’t be fired. It’s just not goin to happen unless Denver drops 20 straight games.
Karl's contract ends after this season
After that we can let the healing begin.

what ive noticed
the reason the players play down to oponents is cuz against week teams karl doesnt give a shit, when we play playoff teams hes off the bench somewhat active, it all starts on the coach
it is not the players fault
zac randolf had 24 rebounds. first he is so skinny he can hardly be seen. blink and you will miss him. he is also fast. randolf is wasting his time with basketball. he should be in the olympics running the 100 meter dash. there is no doubt he is the fasted human on the planet. do not get me started on his jumping ability. i am surprised the nba does not raise the rim a foot when he plays. it is so unfair to have a super human rebounding machine like that in a basketball game.

the human eclipse
randolf is the nba version of the cookie minster. where is oliver miller when you need him.

About Karl
If Karl was traded straight up for Phil Jackson, how would the nuggets fare? The Lakers?
I think the nugs would smash on everyone, and the lakers would be a 2 seed.
smug master
phil jackson is the most over rated coach in basketball. i have watched jackson since he was an assistant with chicago. he is nothing more then being in the right place at the right time. your straight up trade for karl is flawed from the get go. the assistants is what kills the deal. the triangle offense was invented by tex winter in the 1950’s. he was a college coach and wrote his first book on the TRIPLE POST OFFENSE in 1962. another coach that made jackson was johnny bach. the smug master has always been blessed with talent. he was always smart enough to surround himself with great assistant coaches. when detroit beat the lakers for the nba title is the true indication of the smug master’s coaching talent. 3 time defending champion, kobe, shaq in his prime and great role players. he lost to the pistons in 5 games. with out mike jordan the bulls could not beat the knicks in the eastern conference finals. lakers lose in their attempt to fourpeat and smug master quits and writes a book to cover his ass.

Karl is not over rated?
Talk about right time, right place.
nohoops you forgot one thing
He also did a lotto commercial after he quit. And here I thought you really knew your stuff.

redneck and the hippie
i watched jerry sloan and phil jackson when they were players in the nba. red holtzman coached the knicks and dick motta coached the bulls. now that was coaching. back in his playing days jackson would go through a kilo of smug in a week. those were the days. the nba and no drug testing.

He's a ferrari mechanic
Some on here have said that Karl is like a mechanic that takes your old beater and makes it into a good dependable everyday driver.
Jackson is the guy who takes you high powered car and fine tunes it into a race car. He helps teams get over the hump. I understand why people don’t like him, but remember the Lakers before he got there? One of the most talented teams in the league, then they’d lose in the playoffs, always underperforming. I’d take Phil Jackson and his smugness over Karl every day of the week and twice on Sunday.
