Eddie Najara????

If Kmart is out for a significant portion of the season, what would you think about going after Eddie Najara?  The Nets are clealy unloading salary and will finish at the bottom of the League this year record wise.  Eddie has a pretty rich contract and history of injuries, and I am sure they would consider moving him.   Eddie would fill the whole left by Kmart perfectly, but would cost the Nuggs some luxury tax.  He looked pretty lively against us in the NJ game, and I have feeling he would love to finish his career here.   Couldn't the Nuggs package a player and one of the trade exceptions to NJ for Najara??

IF we go into the luxury tax realm...

… I suspect it would be for a more dynamic talent than Eddie. I like his game alot, however, I just don’t see Kronke paying double for what Eddie brings to the table.

As much as I loved watching Najera, I don't think he's the right guy for these Nuggets

If Yi wasn’t injured, I’d look at him. His marketing appeal has kinda died down (as he plays in freaking NJ), and they may trade him with a draft pick and a semi-undesirable contract. We’re kinda screwed luxury tax this year, but imagine Derrick Favors joining this squad and taking K-Mart’s place….

STIFF LIST (as of 2/7 by Andrew Feinstein)

1. THE NUGGETS AT HOME
How is it possible that a Nuggets team with this much talent can be 7-5 at home?! Things have gotten so bad that fans are clamoring for J.R. Smith to return.

2. CARMELO ANTHONY
Kobe Bryant plays through any and all ailments. Melo uses any and ailments as an excuse not to play.

3. KEVIN LOVE
Just when the T'Wolves are looking better, Love stomps on Luis Scola and lands himself a two-game suspension.

4. CHARLOTTE BOBCATS
The 'Cats have lost 11 straight and are now 3-21 ... in the Eastern Conference! This is what happens when you let an underwear salesman with a Hitler mustache run your team.

5. MIKE BROWN
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew (Google it!) got himself a one-game suspension for making contact with a referee.
