Tyrus Thomas?
Tyrus Thomas is officially in the doghouse in Chicago after totaling a whopping 12 minutes of game time tonight. What's more, rookie Taj Gibson is starting over him. I don't think the bulls extended him so he might be a restricted free agent this season, but I know they're another team trying to free up some cap room to make a big at DWade. Could we use a TPE to get Thomas? He could back up Martin the next couple of years and then replace him. He'd be an extremely high energy guy to bring off the bench along with the Bird.

Agreed
I posted this on my possible acquisitions earlier this summer and I’ve heard the main reason that he’s in the dog house is his inconsistent work ethic. I guarantee Melo, Chauncey, and the idea would make him bloom into his full potential. I think it’s a very good idea. He’s a good defensive player and a great rebounder.

Bulls probably wish they would have wound up with LMA.

suns and jazz
want him and both have expiring contracts with boozer and amare’. denver has used 3 future 1st round draft picks for lawson, hunter and atkins deals. bulls lost gordon for nothing to detroit. they will want something in return. their big problem is no low post scoring. any deal denver does would have to start with kleiza’s rights and a player on the roster. they are set at forward with gibson, deng and james. bulls would want smith but they had him in the chandler deal and gave him away. good luck with this one.

Tyrus Thomas is not in the doghouse. Only reason why he didn’t play was because he just got over the flu. Read the game recap on yahoo. But it would be nice if we could get him on the team SOMEHOW, as nohoops4u so eloquently pointed out.. He may be inconsistent in his work ethic, but someone like Chauncey could make sure he gets his work in keep his head on straight, like he did with Melo and JR. He takes crap from nobody, especially not Tyrus if he gets on our team, and make him reshape his work ethic.
Stop getting worked up over the outcome of something you can't control.

Tyrus Thomas isn't going to the Nuggets
The Bulls wouldn’t give up him and Hinrich for Boozer, and none of our trade pieces are nearly as good. Even if TT is stuck deep in the doghouse, they still aren’t giving him away for nothing. We don’t have any picks to give either.

TT just got hurt
Broke his arm, out 4-6 weeks, bummer for him. I don’t think we need Tyrus but I’m a little worried about Utah trading a Boozer package for him. He’d make the Jazz younger and better going forward
