The score bar on Altitude

PrintAnyone else get annoyed with the score and stat bar that ran across the top of the screen for last night's Nugs - Nets game? I hope that isn't the status quo for this season's broadcasts. Every time there was a jump shot, the ball got lost among the 31-point lead. Every time there was a free throw, it looked like Geordi La Forge was at the line. Does it look any different on the HD broadcast?

I didn't notice a problem
but I was watching in HD. The thing I don’t like is that black scrolling ad that runs on the bottom of the screen sometimes. Very distracting. My wife was considering getting some paper to tape over it.
The games are supposed to all be in HD this season ... the last game I watched at home when I had to find HD was the Indiana on HDNet. (Cuban's channel)

On DirecTV
They are all in HD with the HD receiver. You need DirecTV to get the NFL package, so I’ve had it for years.

I have little gripes about the score bar, but I find the constant references to their sponsors to be irritating.
I know Kuni Lexus sponsors the drive of the game segment. That’s great. By why does free-throwing Marlow have to say “that was a Kuni Lexus Drive of the Game candidate” after every good take to the hoop? Srsly?
