Byron Scott?
The Hornets fired head coach Bryron Scott today, with the GM taking over coaching duties. Despite the drubbing the Nugs gave the Hornets last year in the playoffs and their early poor start this season, I would put the blame for poor performance on their roster.
Given Scott's success in the past (for which he was awarded 2008 Coach of the Year) and that this is the last year of George Karl's contract, do you guys think Scott should be considered to coach the Nugs?

Love it
I think Byron Scott is one of the best in the game. He understands the attitude of winning from his playing days and tries to instill that in his players. I would much rather see him than GK on the Nugs bench.
Byron hated JR Smith and Birdman
Never played them and had them released or traded away for nothing.
Adrian Dantley if this fast track to mediocrity continues. He knows the players and the staff, and has no personal issues with AC
I forget about the JR/Bird connection to Scott

I think JR still has a grudge against Scott
"I always believe there's a reason why you go through everything." -John Elway
Please don't tell me you are calling for Dantley
He’s just a taller version of GK in my opionion. If a team is going to switch coaches they should switch personality types. A Vangundy would be a good fit after a Karl and a Karl would be a good fit after a Vangundy.
FYI
Scott has ties to the Denver area. 2 of his cousins and their families live here. I work with one of them and he & byron are almost twins. He said that It could happen if the nuggets dont make their goal this year

He wears thin
on his players look at his history, starts out great then the team declines. He lost his job seasons after having the #2 seed in the West. Think what you want of Karl, but at least he has kept Denver at the worst in the same position year after year. The Hornets have gotten worse.
