ALL-STAR VOTING LINK!

Four members of the Denver Nuggets have made the official All-Star ballot: guard Chauncey Billups, forwards Carmelo Anthony and Kenyon Martin and center Nene. Remember you can also do "write in" votes. Support the Nuggets and get out and vote early and vote OFTEN. Let's get the deserving Nuggets into the all-star game. Click here to get to the voting link on NBA.com.

Star-divide

The All-Star game will be in Dallas this year and the voting is brought to you by T-Mobile ... I actually just dropped T-Mobile and went with Verizon and got myself the Droid. Phone is absolutely awesome and I now have access to the world wide web any time I need. This is completely irrelevant ...

We need Nuggets Nation to get the vote out and get the deserving players into the game! If Yao Ming gets voted in I'm going to lose it!!!

You can vote daily until January 18th. (so vote daily!)

The game is February 14th at 7 p.m. mountain time.

Write respectfully of your SB Nation community and yourself.

Nate, I’m no mathematician, but I think that’s only four members of the Nuggets!

Texting...

Now that texting is the method of voting, ANYTHING can happen. And with write-in options? Hell, I might be an All-Star this year! Oh yeah, prepare to lose it. Yao Ming will ABSOLUTELY be an All-Star this year…

Practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect.

IS JR on there?

IF he isn’t, then Iverson definitely should not be on there…

So Dumb!

How is the All-Star game not a total popularity contest? We’re 8 games into the season and supposed to be able to pick the all-stars? Come on. I hate how involved the Fans have become in all “All-Star” games.

I say take the top 1 or 2 leaders in each statistical category, and then have the coaches vote for the rest.

Its part popularity

the other 7 players for each side are chosen by coaches and they usually make the right choice for players not chosen by fans. When implemented, usually the most popular players were the best players. Its only been recently with player injuries and things that its rly become an issue

Nene

Nene actually got on the ballot as a C, we need to vote him in considering Amare Stoudemire is stupidly in as Center despite the fact he is a power forward and thats where he starts and plays 90% of the time

Text "Nene" to 69622

You can vote once a day, for other players too I guess. No charge counts as 1 normal text message

Rec this fanpost

Just reminding everyone to keep voting. I think we should get Nene in, it could do a lot for his confidence and hopefully more performances like last night’s.

Text Nene to 69622

Joke

The All-Star game is a joke. Letting the fans have all the control is terrible. T-Mac will be starting the game and hasn’t played all season…not sure the guy has even laced up a pair of bball sneaks in about ten seasons (obviously a joke). Keep on voting stiffies!

STIFF LIST (as of 1/30 by Jeff Morton)

1. THE ORLANDO MAGIC
After starting the season so well with the Dwight Howard trade drama (10-3) - the Magic have fallen apart (2-5 since) with embarrassing losses to the Celtics (twice), Hornets, and Pacers. Trade Dwight already!

2. CHAUNCEY BILLUPS' FLOP VS. NUGGETS
In the waning seconds of Sunday's game against the Clippers, Chauncey pulled off an acting performance so good it deserved an Academy Award. If he was still a Nugget we would love it, but he's not. STIFF!

3. JIMMER FREDETTE
Dude, if you are going to take the game-winning shot, at least draw some iron: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mNO1goJOruQ

4. GEORGE KARL'S 4TH QUARTER AGAINST THE CLIPPERS
Getting out coached by Vinny Del Negro should be a nice wake-up call. Going away from Gallo. Leaving Al Harrington in. Using Rudy Fernandez at point guard. And going ultra small contributed to the Nuggets loss.

5. JEFF MORTON
For saying that the Nuggets would skimp on payroll and go cheap like the Avalanche. Clearly I was wrong and deserve to be on this Stiff List. I can only hope that the gods of basketball forgive me.
