This Is Our Team
In reality, there won’t be a big move this early in the season (even though I would love a true back to the basket big). The money isn’t going to be spent. As a fan I want nothing more than a solid move to legitimize a championship shot. However, in order to do that the Nugs would need to free up money and lots of it.
I love all the players on the team (even AC), but the truth is that K-Mart has been and is going to (for the next couple of years) making $10-$12 million more than he should per year. In reality, he should be making Birdman money and we would have some cash to try to get another big (move Nene to the 4, bring K-Mart off the bench or any other number of roster changes that could be made depending on who was brought in). However, this isn’t how things are. I think the team is going to stay the way it is (as long as they stay competitive and up to this point they have been) for the next few years until K-Mart’s contract comes off the books. No one is going to trade for him for that money (even though he is a solid defender and his stats don’t show up on paper).
These is our team and even though L.A., San Antonio, Orlando, Dallas and Portland all look tough, fans of those teams aren’t excited to see Denver on the upcoming schedule. We have a good thing going and this is most likely going to be our team for this season and next year (with the exception of some minor changes and maybe a coaching change depending on this years results).

LOL
yeah what the hell is that crap?
I’d agree with most of what you said though, despite there being unrest in the general fanbase I don’t think Karl will be fired anytime soon because who would replace him?

GK
Is a solid coach. I mean if you look at the NBA coaches how many actually have titles currently? This team is growing. This will be an exciting season for a Nuggets fan.
Kmarts Tradeable next year
After this season, he becomes an expiring contract of $16 million. He’ll be very attractive as a trading chip either next offseason, or certainly by next seasons trading deadline.
