Anthony scores 45 points in Denver victory over Indiana
Carmelo Anthony, my favorite NBA player, was simply amazing in their second game against the Indiana Pacers at Beijing, China. For only 24 minutes, Anthony scored a mind-boggling 45 points (almost 2 points per minute) with 9 rebounds and 2 blocks. I'm very hopeful that he could carry on this type of game in the coming NBA season. And with Chauncey Billups starting with the team in the pre-season unlike last year where he came over after a couple of games, I do believe that the Nuggets could build up on their breakthrough season last year. Go, go, go Nuggets.

melo
he went 16 of 17 from the free throw line which is over 94%. he went 1 of 2 from the 3 point line. he is too talented to be jacking up alot of 3 pointers. the nugs went 5 for 15 and indy went 9 for 27 from 3 point land. which means indy missed 3 more shots than then all of the nugs shot total. every team needs to be able to take and make 3 point shots. last season denver let too many teams back in the game by taking too many when they had a lead.
pick up a calf every day pretty soon you will be picking up a cow
Melo kinda stalled the offense
WE don’t need so much from him. Great to see that he has his touch back, though.

Stalled the offense?
That’s ludicrous. As far as I can see, he’s the only one that could actually score the ball and he was shooting a high ass percentage. You probably also think he was stalling the offense the night he put up 33 in a quarter against the Twolves. If a player is shooting that kind of percentage, keep giving him the ball. It’s not like he was 9-27
