PrintCreated this, since there isn't a game thread for tonight's game. I would really like to see some Arron Afflalo this game, but so far we've only gotten a good dose of AC's "magic". Hibbert continues to impress for the Pacers, but it's good to see Nene using his speed against him. First quarter has just ended, and the Nuggets trail 33-29. It would be nice if the Nuggets could actually prevent a 30 point quarter at least once in these two games. I know the Pacers have a really high powered offense (snicker), but our defense these last two games has been atrocious.

Pretty good game so far and Lawson getting some early minutes is always good.
We are really going to Petro a lot when he’s in the game hopefully he can get something going.

Dahntay can’t handle Melo either it’s pretty hilarious.
Melo with 28 at the half
For those who can’t watch, at the half it’s 58-57 Nuggets. Liked what I saw of Afflalo and Balkman. Second unit had a lot of trouble scoring in the first part of the second, but Melo pretty much put the scoring burden upon his shoulders in the later part. I’d like to see if Lawson can run the point a little bit in the second half, but would be happy just to see him play

Brandon Rush is a good player
He shouldn’t be too far away from starting, and might already be better than Dahntay

Good game
Nene was a +36 and Melo completely beasted
On the other hand Petro really needs a whole lot of work. JR is struggling with his defense and ball handling. Graham doesn;t look like anything more than a bit player and White isn’t getting minutes.
Malik Allen can play though. He fits into our offense and isn’t as bad as I thought he would be. My bad Malik.

melo had 9, andersen had 9 AND AFFLALO HAD 7. total of 50 for the team. al mcguire once said basketball games are won 3 feet from the basket. nice to see denver did not get into a 3 point shooting contest both indy games. nugs kept the fast break points to a minimum. as harry cary used to say- nugs win, nugs win holy cow nugs win!
