Nuggets officially going for all-star reserve spots

This kinda ties in with what Nate posted the other day...
The Nuggets sent out fliers to Western Conference teams endorsing Carmelo Anthony, Chauncey Billups, Nene and Kenyon Martin as nominees for reserves on the Western Conference All-Star team.
Anthony and Billups are considered to have a strong chance to make the team.

I wasn't really ruling K-Mart out of the selection entirely but his nomination does strike me as a bit of a push. Either way, if Chauncey and Melo make the first team then I think it'd be solid if Nene at least reps the Nugs on the reserves. Guy's earning it out there this season.
Which leads me to think Nene may even be a solid consideration for comeback player of the year, even if there's no official league-wide award to hand out...
