Nuggets Round Out 2008 Training Camp Roster
The Denver Nuggets have agreed to bring former Nugget Ruben Patterson, who was out of the league for the last 62 games of last season, into camp on a non guaranteed contract. The other players who will be providing warm bodies for drills will be Smush Parker (the NBA just cannot shake Smush) and James Mays (a four year power forward from Clemson) in addition to the previously announced duo of Nick Fazekas and Mateen Cleaves. Not a very exciting group, especially when you consider they had a player as talented as Elton Brown on their summer league squad.

Patterson back!
I really liked when Ruben Patterson was here a few years ago, hopefully he behaves and plays hard and i think his defensive play can be an asset to this team.

Well, if we DO make the playoffs...
…it’ll be against the Lakers (1st seed fo sho). Meaning a self-proclaimed “Kobe-Stopper” (Patterson) could come in handy!
