Blazer's Edge Take on the Western Conference Playoff Race
The big question over the past couple of days has been how good will Portland be this season? Dave at Blazer's Edge tries to answer that question by listing through the playoff contenders just like we did. He does not say much about Denver, but he draws basically the same conclusion as most of us have, the sixth through ninth seeds will likely be decided between Phoenix, Dallas, Denver and Portland (although he give Golden State more of a chance to join that group than I do).

Wow.
They are a confident bunch those Blazer fans. Be interesting to see if 2 NBA rookies and European shooter do in fact turn them into the Western Conference contenders they think it will.
