RMN Reporting J.R. Smith Could Sign in 7-10 Days
At the same time I was throwing together my post on J.R. Smith Aaron Lopez was posting his own blog entry at the Rocky Mountain News on the status of his negotiations. He has drawn the same conclusion as most of us have (although he got there via the use of reliable sources where we all had to use our own deductive prowess). All signs point to J.R. being a Nugget next season and probably for several seasons to come.

but this front office is not letting JR go. 99.9999999999999999999% certain (disclaimer—.0000000000000000001% chance it happens is because we’re offered Dwight Howard for him).

you’re probably right JL, but with the Triad running the show (Bear, Wark, Chap), I’m never quite sure what the plan is, or which direction they’re taking the team. As Wark said, “it’s not checkers, it’s Chess.”
