I think this analysis has merit
But it’s not the in depth needed to accurately assess the whole situation.
I think the biggest issue I have is that the Nuggets were looking to save money this season, and did so by cutting a ton of salary (nearly 12 million already that I’ve counted between Camby and the difference in salaries traded with the players coming to the Nuggets and Iverson leaving) already. The Nuggets have also acquired a player who long term isn’t more of a cap casualty to them than Kenyon Martin, Nene or Carmelo Anthony (not that I think that’s a big deal to the Nuggz). The interesting thing of course, is could the Nuggets have improved more by letting AI’s contract expire, and the thing is, I don’t really think that’s the case. I think the Nuggets made the smart, under the radar, type of move that only smart, paying attention junkies can really appreciate.
No mistakes in the tango, darling. Not like life. It's simple. That's what makes the tango so great. If you make a mistake, and get tangled, you tango on
