The Nuggets have won five straight regular season games against the Timberwolves and they need to push that total up to six.
With a win the Nuggets can create a three way tie at the top of the Northwest Division with the struggling Utah Jazz and the exceedingly slightly above average Portland Trailblazers at 6-4.
We will see if the Nuggets have any hangover from their successful road trip and win over the Celtics. It is yet another chance for this Nugget team to prove that they are different from last season. In the past the Nuggets would play down to their competition, especially after a big win.

First Half
The Nuggets offense has been horrid. Their offensive efficiency is only 91.4, but their defensive efficiency is a stunning 83.1. The pace is a little for a home game at 96.3.
Denver must be more patient on offense. They can run away with this game with just a slight boost in offensive production.

seriously...
this isn’t entirely unexpected.
After two high profile, high intensity games in Cleveland and Boston it’s not surprising that the intensity isn’t where it should be for this one.

they have had a nights rest
they are playing like dogsh**
a loss here would be inexcusable
I agree it's inexcusable...
but still not surprising.
Consistancy is what seperates us from the truely elite teams.

we have actually hit the boards the last couple of mins and it is paying off
absolutely!
