Without me in that locker room and throwing real and substantive questions at Karl after games (The Nuggets & Karl wanted no part of that - so they revoked my credentials instead) Karl should count his blessings that we have one of the more forgiving, if not soft, press corps in America in this city.
In New York, the media would have such an adverse affect on Karl that his hair might actually grow back.
George Karl should be careful what he wishes for - for while the allure of coaching in Madison Square Garden is a romantic notion that very few NBA outposts can duplicate and or match - the fact is that Karl would be eaten alive by a press corps in New York that would see right through his phony and hollow methods - and they'd also force him to answer questions in an understandable way...instead of the hogwash he passes off as answers in this town.
Yeah, go to NY, George. I'd pay to watch that train wreck unfold.
